It is a little cold and a little slick on the roads Tuesday morning, a deep freeze that South Dakotans better get used to for most of December.
According to Mike Modrick, KOTA Territory News chief meteorologist, the cold front that came in Monday night brought a drastic change to the weather. Temperatures will drop into the teens by Tuesday afternoon and then there is the wind. Wind chills will make it feel like 20 below by Tuesday night.
As for travel Tuesday, the snow is causing some problems. A stretch of Interstate 90 in Wyoming is closed until crews can get it cleared. In South Dakota, the roads are slippery in most places, slowing traffic.
